Fabricated of bar size A36 angle 1 ½” x 1 ½” x 3/16 and A366 sht.1 ½” #9 FLT expanded metal with powder coat finish in green, beige, or black. Other colors are available upon request.
Stainless Steel (LBFX) with rounded corners

Fabricated A240 Type 304 stainless steel with a directional finish on the frame and a 2b mill finish on the expanded metal. The expanded metal openings are deburred to protect inquisitive fingers.

Additional Options
Solid with Insulation Added Enclosures in either carbon or stainless steel are available. Our solid enclosure is insulated with 1” of polystyrene foam insulation with thermal conductivity of 0.25 BTUs @ 75 deg. F per inch of insulation. Insulated enclosures are a good choice for cold climates and they also aid in sound deadening. Our Insulated Enclosures can be ordered as follows in all sizes shown below.
Insulated Enclosure with Two Position Hardware – this enclosure features special hardware which allows the enclosure’s gasket to seat directly on the concrete for a near perfect seal.

Lift-Off Enclosure
CONCRETE ALREADY POURED? NOT A PROBLEM!
The design of the Lift-off Backflow Preventer Enclosure allows for more latitude in installation. It can be mounted to existing concrete or any other hard service. This feature is very desirable when there is a need to protect existing equipment. In addition, since one size Lift-Off can cover several different sizes of valves or equipment, a Lift-Off can cost less than a standard enclosure. The Lift-Off - like all other Le Meur Enclosures - can be used for a variety of applications.
No Frame: Body A366 Sht., 1-1/2” #9 flattened Expanded Metal with A366 Sht.,16 GA.
End Panels: End panels sill covered with closed cell neoprene to prevent abrading finish.
No Hinges:Two Lock Guard with Staples located on each end providing extra security.
Installed Height - 0", Sits on top of Concrete:We recommend allowing at least 1” clearance on each side & each end to avoid damaging the finish when removing. Height requires less clearance.

All enclosures are available in Stainless Steel. Standard Stainless Steel have a rounded corner made from 12 gauge Type 304 sheeting with a directional finish on the frame (###X-###/SS). Also available, 1 1/2" Stainless Steel angle which has a sharpe edge and a greater expense (###-###/SS).

All enclosures are available in solid (###-###S) and solid with insulation (###-###SI). Solid Stainless Steel model number would be (###-###S/SS) or Solid Stainless Steel with insulation (###-###SI/SS).

Standard hardware is intended to be embedded into concrete. Surface Mount Hardware is intended to be anchored into existing concrete. Bolts for all Models are 18-8 or Type 304 Stainless Steel
